Good book, Great cover

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Good book, Great cover

Post by Franciscus »

Hi

I am finding this book by David Glantz a very interesting read (from a perspective of someone who knew only the basic stuff about the war in the eastern front)

And I think the picture on the book cover (which I never have seen before) is one of the most harrowing and terrifying depictions of what real war must be. It is probably edited and/or staged, and has an "impressionistic" look about it, almost like a painting but it is amazing, IMHO

I tried to find more about this picture and the only thing I saw is that it apparently depicts soviet artillery in action. Anyone knows something more about it ?

Regards
