Price?

Post by DonCzirr »

Has this been made public yet?

I am meeting with my council of financial advisors (wife) about the Q1 war gaming budget soon - so trying to factor this one in ...

NP - if this has not been and cannot be disclosed at this time ... just trying to scout ahead .....

39.99 - would not be bad - the Forever Price of JTS games (+ 4 cents) ....

My guess is 59.99. Why would they go lower than most of the list prices for other new games. I have not seen Matrix shy away from higher prices.

ASL cost me around 5 grand.

I paid 160.00 for World in Flames (nice books but I wish my brain was working that day).

I own entirely too many computer war games. In fact the amount embarrasses me. Not a lick of self control here :)

I can manage 20 bucks in a good month these days for 'not food' based purchases. But I highly doubt the price of this game will even matter to me.

I'll just diet real serious big time that month.

Just glad I'm not a PS4/Xbox gamer type. The money I see people drop on games that have no play duration past a week of hard core gaming staggers me.

LOL! Me too! I buy games with the plan of learning them and getting good at them. Never happens. I play Squad Battles, Battle Academy 1 & 2 and other games just sit there for a future rainy day when I am old. [:)]

Then I started buying used board games I had as a kid. All started with a Esty buy of a purple un punched Squad Leader game for $10 and now I have 4 copies of SL, 2 of Cross of Iron and the other two. Add in Panzer Leader, Panzer Blitz, AIW, Tobruk and many more. I stopped the crazy buying awhile ago, but Man did I get some super great
deals on them!

I beta tested TotH and even made a Squad Leader mod. It's a great solo game [&o]

Be careful with that 'wait till you're old' plan Richie. Old has a habit of showing up unannounced and ruining everything.

It sounds like Richie61 is loaded! Let's get him and MrsWargamer together.

Maybe, if the match is right, they'll be so happy that they will buy the game for the lot of us!

Stranger things have happened.

LOL! Not loaded [:(] But I lack self control over new infantry type war games [:)]

I bet that is why Matrix sends me ads and that coupon for a discount [:'(]

Really?

Someone could have told me sooner darn it. I used all this month's money on this really nice tank model. Really nice kit. Italeri 35th scale Chaffee with new molds and a metal gun barrel and individual link tracks. I built the earlier release once. Truly wonderful model.

But I didn't really need it (any more than more shoes).

And the 25th? Like I need that sort of thing right before the 26th (I have a critcial appointment that day).

Geewhiz :)

They say life always gives us what we need from a totally unexpected source and one not of our own choosing.

I could be a war gamer's dream I suppose. Surely one of you guys must have dreamed of finding a woman that actually will bug you to play your war games.
