German translation?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

German translation?

Post by Jemus »

Is a german translation planned? I am asking since there is one in War in the east...

I guess you even should be able to use most of the old translation.csv

I cannot find this file though in the new game, so I can't change it on my own.

Ok, my English is good enough to understand most of it but playing in your native language is always better. And I guess I am not the only german customer out there :-)

Thanks for your reply!

No, unfortunately, there's no current plan to work on translating War in the West. Any effort would have to be one done by the community. If there is interest, I could see what it would take to create an exe that would look for a translation file.
