sleeping pilots! (bug)

only leader unit is going to target, just 3 planes, are the other pilots (186 planes assigned to this raid, not 3) still sleeping???

this thing is happening for the second time in this campaign (it's at 13th turn)


I play with alterego's patch
is it a bug of official 1.02 or a bug of alterego's 1.02.076?

stab/KG77 only consists of 3 aircraft, each unit will create a seperate icon.

You may have only clicked on stab/KG77 and the remainder are there as well.

Dodgy weather may have seen stab/KG77 take off (HQ units usually have higher morale) and the remainder rained in.

The game is broken, but I have never seen this before to this extent, sometimes approx 5-10% missing.

no there were no other units flying of that raid, I'm sure, only stab/KG77 taked off, just 3 planes, but no one advice about weather I saw, it was a beautiful day, just 18% of cloud density

the same thing happened some turns ago, it was a big raid too (200 planes around), but only the lead unit taked off

I've played about 14 days of the BoB campaign since you posted and had a look at raids but have not seen your problem.

Are you playing an edited game??

Is it always the same units flying/refusing to fly??

Anything consistent about the target, lead unit, escort???

it's not edited, it's just with Alterego's patch

I've found the save when it happened for first time, this is the raid:




I have executed again that turn, and it happened again the same strange thing, but with one bomber unit plus to lead unit, but there's still no one flying of 189 fighters scheduled for escort task, and weather was good, 26% of cloud density, no one messages viewed about cancelled or delayed raid.
All other raids went well, their escort flew.

because of missing 189 escort fighters those 46 Ju 88 suffered heavy losses...

lead unit is different than second time event I writed into open post.
Also targets and escorts are different, at all, in first event it's a raid of luftflotte 3, in the second it's a raid of luftflotte 2

I've done other two more turns after second event, it has not happened again in these two turns (now it's 26 august)

I've maked run again the turn of second event, when only lead unit taked off, instead this time all planes taked off!

this bug may be related to something of random not working well, playing again a turn it may doesn't happen again
