Black Screen With Cursor

I downloaded the update and the game seemed to work fine but then when attempting to start I got the error message
'unable to locate project file'. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program from the original download but now I just get a black screen. Any advice would be appreciated! I have attached the output log file.

Try deleting or renaming the Settings folder in <my documents>/My Games/Order of Battle - Pacific

Where would this folder be on the Mac side, I tried verifying cache and re installing from steam after deleting everything I could find but still have just a black screen.

Users\<username>\Order of Battle - Pacific\Settings

After deleting that folder I then got a green background when I relaunched the game.
Verifying the steam files took me back to a black screen.

Try the following:
Right click on the game in your Steam library list, select properties and uncheck "enable steam overlay".

Well I now get a black screen with audio but that is it after disabling the steam overlay.

Can you try downloading the file:

Unzip the content (options.dat) to Users/<username>/Order of Battle - pacific/Settings, replacing the existing file. This should start your game in 1024x768 windowed mode.

Does that get you into the main menu?

That gets me into the main menu thanks! Should I be ok to edit the settings at this point?

Yes, you can try. But do it one by one. One must options might be causing your issue.
In case of need just copy the file again.

It seems to be going to fullscreen causes the game to go all black for me.
Window mode seems to correct this.

Try lowering down the quality of the graphics in the Performance menu.
