Recover Unpossessed Weapons

Post by Gerry4321 »

Manual says this can be done but I cannot find how to in the manual. Any help?

Also can a crew recover an unpossessed weapon?

Thanks.

It's done automatically, when you have a personnel unit (Squad, HS, Crew) in the same hex as unpossessed weapon. Note only crew can use Ordnance.

what if I have a GER squad with an LMG take out a RUS crew with an MMG in close combat. How do I drop the LMG and pick up the MMG? (of course assuming they are all in the same hex)

Somehow it didn't do it. Does it have to be my Player Turn? (Now is the Admin Segment of my opponent's turn).

Sorry Peter but the crew (who had no weapons himself) did not pick up the MMG in 2 different Admin Segments.

Crew has a priority for Ordnance...I will check the AI code.

Can a squad purposely drop a support weapon and leave it for another squad to pick up?

No he can't. Perhaps a feature request?

Peter , fantastic game by the way . I see you say above that currently a counter/stack can only pickup dispossessed SW's of its own side .Is there any intention to allow pickup of enemy SW in the future as well as adding the rules around inability to repair enemy SW if they break , etc etc ?
