Wings,

Do you know anything about the steel armor game on sale?

http://store.steampowered.com/app/286280/

is that a good price?

Thanks

I have not played it, a "Very Positive" total review (92 reviews) from Steam gamers is a good bet that it is very playable and enjoyable. Price wise I think its a fair price, although a great sale could be on the horizon! [:)]

Unless you "have to have it right now" your best bet for Steam is to add a game to your wishlist. Then you'll see it go on sale and you can watch it for a couple months. After a while you'll notice the pricing trend for that game. For example, I was watching a game for a long time that was $20. It would go on sale every month or two for $10. It never went below ten in about a year's time. So I went ahead and bought it on sale at $10.

"Weeklong Deals" Here is the list of games on sale, large to small discounts (some discounts are not showing up, click on each individual title for the discount), positive to negative reviews. [:)] These games are on sale until March 7th! Check it out, there is usually something there for most everyone!

Thanks for this Patrick, I often forget to check the Weeklong Deals!

I see Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star is on sale at quite a considerable discount (-80%), so I think I'll get that. Does anyone have any experience / opinion on the DLC? Are any recommended, or is the base game good enough to begin with?

I have Star but the interface is a rough one. A few months ago, humble bundle had the game and all dlcs for under 6 bucks if I recall. I don't like the interface but it's a good game

Steal Armor is the second best Tank Sim out right now. Steal Beasts pro is number 1 in my opinion. Only downside to Steam Armor is it shares the same horrible UI as Graviteam Tactics games.

Myles, You are welcome! I have not played Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star yet but most of the DLC's have reviews, just click on each DLC line. [8D]

"Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth" is on sale at 67% off! [:)] Sale ends March 2nd! I'm a little biased on this one, the reviews on Steam have been mixed, I am a Civ devotee!
Is it better than Pandora?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I'm more partial to "Beyond Earth" but "Pandora" just as good (if not better)!

"The Political Machine 2016" is on sale at 50% off! [:)] Sale ends March 3rd! I've played some of the previous versions and it is pretty entertaining and strategic. From the devs: "Let the campaign begin! Your goal: Win the hearts and minds of America’s voters to achieve victory in the 2016 presidential election. Play as one of more than a dozen candidates such as Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and more! Think you can do better than the other candidates? Create your own candidate from scratch and show the rest of those windbags how to make a real run for the White House. Take to the campaign trail and try to out talk, outsmart, and out spend your opponents!" If you want to get political...

"Mordheim: City of the Damned" is on sale at 50% off! [:)] Sale ends March 4th! Not really my cup of tea but it has alot features and gameplay...from the devs: "Mordheim: City of the Damned is the first video game adaptation of Games Workshop's cult classic tabletop game Mordheim. Set in the Warhammer World's decimated Empire city, Mordheim: City of the Damned is a turn-based tactical game where you lead warbands into bloody and lethal skirmishes. The game blends RPG elements, fast-paced tactical combat and intricate unit customization in a time wrought by chaos and rivalry where only the strongest survive. After a twin tailed comet crashed on Mordheim, the City of Damned turned into a terrifying battlefield where rival warbands fight fiercely for the control of key neighborhoods, looking for glory and fortune by acquiring the very valuable Wyrdstone fragments. In these epic battles where fame and glory await, your strategy will definitely be your best ally! Visit the four corners of the City of the Damned to complete multiple missions in the solo campaign, or challenge other players in enthralling multiplayer modes." And now...

"TIS-100" is on sale at 50% off! [:)] Sale ends March 4th! This open-ended programming game has gotten tremendous reviews! From the devs: "Despite its appearances, TIS-100 is a game! Print and explore the TIS-100 reference manual, which details the inner-workings of the TIS-100 while evoking the aesthetics of a 1980’s computer manual! Solve more than 45 puzzles, competing against your friends and the world to minimize your cycle, instruction, and node counts. From the devs: "Prepare for a mind-bending first-person adventure, as you enter the world of the Odd Gods and discover the magical power of the TRI! Not a sale but an upcoming release, "No Man's Sky". A quite ambitious looking Open World-Space-Exloration game. From the devs: "Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action. In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again." There are two lengthy videos...the release date is June 21st! Check it out...
