Strange German victory

Post by Angiel »

German: Human Player - Side A
American: AI - Side B

Result: Major victory for the German. I do not understand this since the American has more points than the German [:-](2 for the objective and 10 for units Kia).

It looks like both the Germans and the Americans achieved a Major Victory, according to the conditions above (both sides requiring 7 points to acheive a Major Victory). Since the game seems to only report on one side's achievements, and the Germans are Side A, perhaps their result is the one chosen for the report?

It is a small scenario that I did.
German 2 infantry 1 LMG, 1 Pzk III.
American 2 infantry, 1 bazoka, 1 MMG, 1 M4.

I was thinking the same thing. Both sides reached the Major Victory requirements with the Human side being the one reported.

You need to be a bit creative with the Victory Objectives/Victory Points if you want to balance the Victory Conditions. Perhaps add more Victory Objectives (hexes) or change the KIA value for one side. A squad doesn't need to be 2 Victory Points it could be 1 point per squad. I would try setting new values and then Play Test. See the outcome and change if needed.
I find it quite fun to test my scenarios and make changes to balance them.
