Placing units in Set-up phase

Post by Majick »

Hi All,

I'm trying to set up the units in the Tigers on the Hunt scenario (Thanks Jorgen!)

As the German player there are blue hexes which I assume are set up areas. However, not sure how to place the units and the manual is no help.

I select the unit by Ctl-Click, but clicking or right clicking on the blue hex does not move it. Does anyone know how we set up units? Are the blue hexes not placement zones after all?

Cheers

Yes the blue boxes (or other color for other countries) are setup hexes.

You click on the unit in the bottom box and you should see the counter on your mouse cursor. Just left click again to place the unit.

Make sure the unit goes into the right setup zone. There can be several different zones on a map at the same time.

Hope that helps.

Hi Majic,

The blue setup zones in the Tiger on their own are for the AI player only. Your Tanks are pre-setup to the bottom right so just plan ahead, start the game, move and enjoy [:)]

This is one tough scenario... Well designed but you really need to think and plan not only on how to use your units but where the enemy might move his units.

I've had a request to play this live on my twitch stream but have not yet because I haven't been able to beat the enemy yet as the Germans. Maybe sometime...
