Scenarios and the ATO Timeline

Post by Pergite! »

Hi,

Are there any longer scenarios out there that is doctrinally built around the ATO process as part of a crisis action planning process? Something like a scenario that provides planning within a realistic timeframe with the possibility to initially task ISR assets for target development and then setup and allocate strikes within the nominal 48 hour cycle that is used by for example NATO and the US?

There are so much realism in Command but I have yet to find a scenario that gives the possibility of a realistic time-frame to work with different functions and tasks in order to simulate a proper OODA loop for planning above the actual (perfectly simulated simulated) combat situation. Most scenarios could of course in the editor be stretched to start earlier to accommodate this, but would surely mess up the way that the opponent is supposed to act in regards of sustainment etc.
