Cool! I am very happy!
Khalkhin-Gol and Winter War
This is really good news
I hope that you will be able to realize it!

Karaganov wrote me that in a week he will finish the new map - Assault of the Mannerheim Line (260x180).

Oooh! I am glad to hear it!

I also think that it is better to have one standard for info cards.

Thankfully these had regular cards too so I`ve added them to the mod. Maybe we can now get the Fokker D.XXI and finally that Bofors 40mm aa gun(to replace the last vanilla Finnish battle card).

I don`t think this looks correct if it`s really meant to be the K17. Here`s the picture of the actual thing:

And the original British gun:

The barrel is actually bellow, not above as you`ve set it.

True, and I thank you for it! I also think it`s one of the best aircraft you`ve made so far. The details are excellent and the camouflage of the dutch is spot on.

Thanks! I`m gonna implement the I-15 as the I-153 because Finland apparently operated about two dozens captured I-153 and only a couple I-15 were tested as far as I can find.

I`ve been looking at this site, trying to see what heavy anti-aircraft gun could be made for Finland for the Winter war and I think the one that`s sort of important is this:

76 ItK/34 V, Vickers
(76 mm antiaircraft gun M/34 Vickers)
(76 mm Vickers model 1931)
http://www.jaegerplatoon.net/AA_GUNS3.htm

Only 12 were bought and used, but other types were present in even smaller numbers (something like 4). Also, it`s important to make this gun because it was also the main heavy aa gun for Romania and the Netherlands too. Both of them produced it under licensed. The Romanian one could be useful for Karaganov`s eastern maps too. The finnish guns had some modifications to them, but for this scale I think only one model for all three factions (Finland, Romania and Netherlands) will suffice.

Here are some of the clearest pictures I could find:

Deployed, in dutch service:
http://www.waroverholland.nl/index.php? ... o&pid=3881
Dutch gun (the one closest to the camera):

Deployed, in Finnish service:

Deployed, in Romanian service (second picture from the top):

Folded, in Romanian service:

Thank you for the Finnish armored train!

@H.Balck could you please make a PZL P.7a for Poland? I`m thinking to add all the Polish planes to the mod and I`d like to have a complete roster. The P.7 was still used in September 1939, with about 30 of them remaining in service. At this scale there isn`t much visual difference between it and the PZL P.11c, but make sure there is no armament on its wings! It had the machineguns on the fuselage.

As for colours, maybe you could replace that blue line on the current P.11c with a red one like this:
http://wormwoodthestar.deviantart.com/a ... -313571805

Or simply remove the blue line and leave the whole plane khaki like so:
http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/inde ... for-hadzi/
http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/G ... ki/00.shtm

It wouldn`t be much work and would give us a visually recognizable new plane in the game.

Out of curiosity, why do you think that? Only 45 of them were produced according to that article (the wikipedia says only 25 were produced). The article also says they had poor off-road capabilities which makes them pretty much unsuitable to their reconnaissance role and according to the same article they saw minimal combat. Clearly the car was a dead end and it was rapidly superseded on the production line by the FAI. In game this thing can only have poor stats so nobody would bother with it (which would be a decision in accordance with the real history). My point is that we`re probably wasting time implementing all these minor batches of soviet equipment that barely saw any action. If this would be a small faction it would make sense, but the soviets already have tons of units that were produced in great quantities and used alot in combat.

@H.Balck could you please provide another right render for the Polish Fokker FVII? The one you released is seriously undersized compared to the left facing render. I`ve flipped and superimposed the render to show you:

I can assure you that trying to align the render at one end and finding that it doesn`t match the numbers at the other end wasn`t fun either. Especially since it was a 3-4 pixels difference that was hard to explain. :D

The more beautiful units, the better.

What you have said is true for the campaign mode. Why you will hire infantry and 76-mm guns when you can hire a dozen T-34, half a dozen KV and several 203mm guns.

But I like more when thousand units are placed on map and we must learn to manage a large number of diverse and weak units.

That`s true. I just hope H.Balck realizes that stuff like this or the three different crews (regular, navy and mountain) for the exact same gun (which means three units with exact same values) make sense on a very large map like yours because of the requirement for visual diversity, but they`re not so useful in a campaign mod, as you`ve said.
