Different game. Version 1.84 is referring to the original classical WITP.

The idea of the procedure is to demonstrate the update process for moving from a current version to a newer version, e.g old version (e.g. 1079) to a newer one (e.g. 1084).

The version numbers would change in the life cycle of releases (we are currently at 1109) and players could be playing games on different versions.

Not everyone likes to upgrade to the latest version as they come out.[:D]
