The troops have disruption mostly above 50% so like two days rest or even more will be needed. The artillery is doing just fine and will bombard in the meantime. Due to air groups on ground attack following their targets we have Intel that a number of units that were at Liuchow are now at and around Kukong, so DAW HQ is redeploying those assets to form another line of defense. Pakhoi airfield is now size 9. Many engineers are already moving to Wuchow, which might be needed to cover the troops when they besiege Canton. It will be interesting to see how long that takes. Most of the assigned artillery is about three weeks march from Canton, going through Wuchow.

One armored unit, the engineers, and the two divisions that attacked today will stand down. The other four divisions will join the attack, so we should be able to really take a bite out of the retreating Imperial forces tomorrow. Base forces are partly ashore but the port is 100% damaged so this might take a few days. The runways are fully repaired and the airfield services are 76% damaged. Allied personnel cleared 70 damage percentage yesterday, clearing the runways and beginning work on the services, so it looks like 3 more days to full operations. Dozens of mines were cleared from the harbor today as well and more remain.
The IJN sent a potent destroyer force straight at our carriers near Tokunoshima.

Our carrier aircraft performed much better this time and it looks like they finished off the IJN destroyers that sortied. We had two TFs of destroyers and one CL TF on patrol in the hex but the battleships made the intercept. From recon Nagasaki/Sasebo does look to have a possibly unlimited supply of destroyers. I hope they are old.
Two or three days until the Amami Oshima invasion convoys arrive at Tokunoshima.
