[FIXED B805] 1.11 RC3 B804. Popup message problem.

Maybe it's me, but the popup message window does not seem to be working. The database is the latest. Just load the scenario, and hit start. Thanks for the look.

I am not sure what pop ups you are looking for. Are pop ups enabled in game options?

I did a bunch of testing and this is extremely strange.

It effects all pop ups. But it is inconsistent. I turned on all pop ups in game options. Within the same scenarios, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I tried it in the above Homeland scenario, Op Bass Drum, Battle of Latakia, and North Pacific Shootout. I con't figure out what parameters make this issue show up. I have tried turning certain pop ups on and off, but no effect. The sim does pause when the pop up should come up, but 75% of the time, the pop up doesn't come up.

I have seen this too. I have found it seems to be hiding the window behind the main window and there is no easy way to bring it forward.

You can verify this by

When a window doesn't appear to open, minimise the main window
click on the CMANO window in the taskbar

It should make a ping sound, but not load the main window up.

The way to get out of this "unable to reopen main window" is to right click on the taskbar icon and choose "close window"
then click cancel

The main window appears, and all the open windows appear in front.

I'm seeing this problem in B807; see attached save. Goblin detected, classified as SSN and torpedos in the water all without popups. I had 'raise popup on new contact' set to on.

EDIT: Please ignore this for the time being; I can't reproduce it.

Just enabled all opo ups. Dropped all enemy contacts. Hit start. Within 1 minute had 3 different opo ups on sub and two torps.

I followed your steps and got the same result; definitely not what happened earlier. I'll keep an eye on it and post back if it happens again.

In the meantime I guess hopefully it was user error.
