TotH vs SPWaW

So, which one is better this or SPaW? I mean gameplay, atmosphere rather than technical aspects. Any differences that someone used to SPWaW shppuld be aware of before purchasing?

Hmm, probably the only thing that they have in common is the same scale and the period they cover. One thing you should be aware of is that it only covers 4 nations of the ETO. TotH is pretty much a digital (with AI) version of the ASL Boardgame (IMHO, more ASL Starter Kit than full blown ASL). I have played the SP series pretty much since they came out and while both WinSPWWII and WinSPMBT are still on my hard drive, they rarely get played these days. As for which one is better, I personally would say SP but that's because it covers more nations, equipment, supports multiplayer and pbem and so on. That being said, they are VERY different games so I am nto sure comparing them is fair.

Really, the best advice I could offer would be to recommend you watch the videos done by idjester so that you can see what the game looks like in action. That and ask specific questions here on the forums if you have them.
