The following have I asked in the past. Mayby is't now possible for one of the testers answer this

1. Does UV WitP include

* Differend Amtracks and units.
* Junks and other local vessels
* Guerrillas
* Helicopters
* Special Forces.
Examples:
- 6th US Ranger Bn (And there where plans to raise the 7th US Ranger Bn if there was a invasion of Japan)
- 1st Special Service Force
- 1st to 4th Marine Raider Bns
- UDT Teams
- 3rd UK Commando Bde
- Marine Force Recon (Exist from Jan 1942)
- Alaska Scouts
- OSS Detachment 101
- Alamo Scouts
- Merrill's Marauders
- 7th Amphibious Force Special Unit #1 (a joint Army, Navy, USMC, Anzac LRP Co, exist from 1 March 1943
under Commander W. B. Coultas and is used in New Guinea and New Britain.
- 5217th Reconnaissance Bn (from October 1943 and use in the Philippines)
- Chindits
- Australian Independent Companies (Commando's)
- South Pacific Scouts
- 1st and 2nd Commando Fiji Guerrillas
- Korps Insulinde (Dutch SOE Commando's exist from December 1942)
- and other special forces

2. What for the Dutch units are include, special the units after 1942.

3. Does groundunits upgrade. And is this automatic or can done the player.

4. Is't possible to raise, withdraw or disband groundunits.

5. Can CVE's transport groundunits. (I don't know or this has happen in WWI, but after the war does the UK transport there Commando units by carrier.)

Interesting idea.

I'm currently reading a book on CVEs (William T. Y'Blood: The Little Giants. ISBN 0-87021-275-3). According to this work, a few CVE were used after the war in the RAMP (Recovery of Allied Military Personnel) operation carrying liberated Allied POWs. Many CVEs (46 of them) were used in the Magic Carpet operation, the transfer of US Military Personnel from overseas back to the USA. Quote: "With their cavernous hangar spaces, the 'jeeps' (along with their big sisters) were ideally suited for transporting large numbers of people." (p.411).
During the war CVEs were used to carry replacement personnel (esp. pilots) within the context of normal replenishment operations. I may have missed it but I cannot recall having read about CVEs being used as troop transports for ground pounders.

So, since apparently troop transport was possible, it should be allowed in WITP - i.e. you may use them as troop transport if you have CVEs to spare from more important tasks and/or no other ships available for that duty. Of course this should only be possible when the CVE has no planes aboard, and they should be very slow to load/unload unless in a decent port (you may speed up unloading using the catapult, LOL!) And no fast transport either. Not sure about the capability to handle heavy equipment, vehicles, arty or supply stores, though.

But considering the rather low probability of CVEs being used that way by players (more important work to do for carriers), I doubt this feature will make it into WITP. Anyway, could be fun.
