Lots of SFT's

Post by Ormand »

I am curious, why does the AI get to exceed 8 SFT's in a unit? I guess it needs help. This is a unit with 12 (edit - I meant 12) different SFT's in it.

I think Vic said one time that it is because it is bad at making a decision on what a unit is to compromize... so to compensate for that, they can make units we cannot...

Yes, it does have some bad decision making, and thus it gets to "cheat". This could be "fixed" with the TOE feature, but it could take a lot of work for him. By this, I mean we could define an AI TOE with our mods that would help the AI build reasonable units. This is really useful for human players, and it could be a mechanism for making the AI do better as well. I am OK with the AI being able to mix level I & II in the same unit.
