Game runs very slow

My problem is that the AI moves so slow the game is unplayable. Only the scenarios where there is a small order of battle have I been able to play. Most of the scenarios especially the large tank battles are unplayable. The AI turns take 3 to 5 minutes per move. I was actually reading a book as I played. I tired of that. So before I delete this from my hard drive is there anything I can do to play this game as it was meant to be played. I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 laptop and I play many of your games on it. Thanks for any assistance.

The first thing to do is to install the Day Zero patch, found here: tm.asp?m=4030153
