The red hexes

Hi
There are some red hexes with a number in some scenerios (seen german in others), what are these?

How can I see which version the game has (I am seriously IT-challanged)?

Hi Mike,

Those hexes are setup zones, and red ones are Russian setup Zones. These can be for both Human and AI player but sometime only for AI units.

To see your game version click on help in the top menu bar, then click on About Tigers on the Hunt and you will see the version number.
