Have you created an unusual scenario

Post by Fred98 »

Whilst there is a place on the Uncommon Valour website for scenarios, nobody has posted any.

I have created an interesting scenario. I took the scenario “Turning the Tide”, renamed it and saved it in a new slot.

I feel that CVs dominate the map. So I removed all CVs, removed all CVLs, and removed all BBs - from both sides.

I can now feel the problems of the day. The main problems were: Not enough APs and not enough air support – because the oceans are so large.

The Japanese begin with a huge lead and to catch them will be difficult. I am playing a PBEM game and enjoying it.

As for WITP, the map will be so large that the CVs will not dominate as they do now.

Great idea Joe.

It's a lot of fun slugging it out in a confined area for the rights to a prime piece of airbase real estate.
All the joys and tribulations of intercepted DMS fast transports.

The 'Slot' would be a perfect battleground.

I took the scenario "Four Weeks of Hell" and removed all land-based fighters and bombers, as well as the CVs on each side. I gave each side one CVL. Now most of the battles are between surface combat groups. It has a very 1020's feel to it. I posted it to the forum here some time ago. A search should find it.
