The Poles do a bit of re-jigging and the Communist Chinese decide to launch the imaginatively entitled Operation Avenge-Mao-Tse-Tung-by-attacking-Japanese-units-in-a-risky-attack-across-river-to-try-and-cut-off-Umezu-from-the-rest-of-his-forces. With a code-name like that, even if the Japanese intercept Chinese transmissions they will never guess the nature and target of the forthcoming offensive.

Meanwhile Nimitz lands in Hawaii.

So to battle. Do the Japenese wish to bring in Umezu HQ Support? Current odds are 3:1 (Japan has the choice of table)

The attack was a dismal failure. A 2 was thrown and the Communists lose another unit.

Do the Chinese, US or CW want to do any air re-base?

The Soviets re-base some bomber aircraft menacingly at the Soviet/Persian border and environs.

Yes. The Poles want to fly to a neutral country.

With the oil rule I find no point in staying with the Polish air force since it is impossible to reorganize them.

The Polish Airforce defect en masse to the Romanian border, and the Romanians then inter the aircraft - but allow the airmen to take the first bus to Constanta. They hear that the Constanta-Plymouth ferry is leaving shortly....

The Polish infantry corps in Warsaw is reorganised and the turn comes to an end.

To round off a thoroughly depressing impulse for the Allies, the weather is a 3 - its Fine everywhere....

Is that the V for victory symbol or, with the demise of Mao-Tse-Tung, are the Chinese peasants revolting and telling the communist party what they can do with the little red book?

Anyway, I've sent an e-mail to Harry (hopefully he will provide a definitive answer).

Part of me hopes the Allies interpretation is right - but mostly I hope the game has been coded as per the rules. Bad news for the Allies [:(] - but good for MWIF [:)]
i think here the trouble is poland initiate combat not UK: this is a poland action, as poland is not conquered, so are poland ship not yet CW, to wich Royal navy partecipate.

and as you have direct line with harry, can i send a pm with same Raw question that every time are discussed in our board game group?

Hi quiritus. I was just reading back over the last impulse and came across your post. I wasn't ignoring you!

I don't have a hotline to Harry. I e-mailed him once about something and he was quick to respond - I have therefore taken the opportunity from time to time to e-mail about various things ADG. When this query came up I did the same.

You may want to speak to one of the grogs on the forum - paulderynck in particular - who may know the correct procedure for asking about rules questions. I think I am right in saying that he gets clarification of rules for the development team from time to time.

I don't have access to computer right now but if someone can post European maps showing France and Poland situation I can call DoW. Germany takes land action.

No hurry. I will be away from the computer for a couple of hours. And if you do any DOWs I would like to be part of the set up process.
