The Empire's troops beating feet away from Kweilin slipped away before our troops could target them. Our troops, though, were targeted by numerous Imperial death gliders but the heavy terrain protected them. Our own P-51B and P-38L punished enemy troops in the open 1 hex to the east, despite a P-38L strike being intercepted. With more air support now available at Kweilin we have moved in 4x squadrons of P-47D both to CAP our own troops and escort strikes against enemy formations.

Highest disruption at Singapore is 20% with many of the divisions still in the teens. AV is 3,791. Only 2 miles to go at Palembang - crossing tomorrow for sure. The two units in place will deliberate attack to support the river-crossing shock attack. Ghost ship patrol.

The USA 31st ID is about 3 days away from Canton. There are two more combat engineer units and another artillery unit farther behind but they will reinforce the attack in progress. A change in plan regarding the air drops. The Lushai Bde will fly from Pakhoi where they are being sea lifted to right now. That will split up the air transport load among three bases. In two days most of the Bde will be there and we should be able to air drop on the third day. Units will still be pulling into Kukong, but there are already enough there to begin attacking so three days will be fine. Our armoured cars aiming to cut the road junction north of Kweilin came under attack by Imperial bombers today but I think they will still get there ahead of the IJA. Reinforcements will be almost a week behind them at that point so they will have to dig in and perhaps rely on air support too.

Palembang went well.

The defenders did not crumble in one attack. Two infantry units, a division and a brigade, will stand down while the remaining units continue attacking (deliberate attack). The West African 81st Division took the brunt of the enemy's wrath in the crossing, shielding other units. 3,830 AV at Singapore with one division at 16% disruption, one at 12% and all other units below 10%. The Empire also flew cover over their troops in the open escaping Kweilin and our P-47D2 groups did not escort the P-38L and P-51B strikes. Our boys got the worst of it. See air losses below.

Latter stages of movement on all current targets is going well. The weather prediction for tomorrow is clear and enough of the Lushai Bde is unloaded at Pakhoi that I have decided to move up the Kanhsien air assault by a day. As mentioned before most or all 2EB in the area will hit the target while 3x Bde air drop and assault. 6x groups of P-51D will sweep overhead.

At Singapore, one division is at 12% disruption, but rather than wait longer the order is given to attack tomorrow, AV is 3,874. Palembang's defenders are trying to negotiate retaining ownership of the oil fields.

After these sea battles the first Allied raid of the day against Amami Oshima to arrive was a group of USMC dive bombers with escort. They found a large LRCAP about 6x the size of their escort. It was a tough day for them. Some strikes found gaps in the coverage and others powered through. Raids escorted by Thunderbolts did pretty well. See air losses below.

AV at Amami Oshima is 1,016 and the troops are further rested. Attack tomorrow.

Some idiot forgot to order the tanks at Takao to attack. Heads are gonna roll! The armor attacks tomorrow while the divisions rest another day.
