So. just sent the turn files and reports to Sqz. I think we may be running turns within a week!

I am curious about upgrading to latest patch. This game is on last official. Old, I know. Neither of us wanted to upgrade then, but since it's been a long while now I wonder if it makes sense.

What will I gain? Anything to lose?

Glad this is restarting!

The Back button in the Airplane/Ship database is more then worth updating to the most recent beta. It is officially my favorite button! And there are some other good things as well of course.

So because Joseph has been playing with the last official, and that is native to this game for its duration, we'll continue with that setup to start at his request.

It's fine with me, and although I know there are advantages to both sides moving to the new patch, I also think this offers Japan in this game a balancing factor. LBA strikes will be stronger in the official with better coordination and less flak. To balance this the Allies will also get better coordination and less flak, but the IJN is down some CVs, and LBA will have to supplement those if possible.

We don't have SL so there are some massive Allied armies Torsten has set up, similar to what I faced with Jocke in Burma. I've countered them so far and I think I've learned my lesson about getting these cut off there! [:D]

A quick hello and good luck to Erik. I hope to contribute to a fun and rewarding game experience for us both, and those following.

Eric, glad to see you pick up the sword and resume this fight. Long live the AE Forum! I'll be following.

I read from page 28 forward to spark my memory. The rest will have to wait for serious downtime.

I can only have 12 Stella's in my game with Jocke and then only in mid 44.

I definitely think you should use the ones you have as they are a flexible plane. CV & Float. Plus Army! What is not to love.

Here it is with the Spruce. I wonder if the Spruce could be used as a Kamikaze late game. Agile little guy, and I think I recall seeing a picture of one with a 55 gallon drum stuffed with something in the rear seat. An Obvert picture no doubt.[:)]

Thanks Dan. It'll be fun to see where this goes with a new man at the helm. It's not so much later than your game, and not quite as forward a position for the Allies, so I think Joseph has his work cut out. He does want to play the endgame, so it might just be a perfect match!

If either of these had a bigger load or more bombs (like the Jake or Sonia's x 4) then I could see their use. As a kami they're really fragile, and really slow, so I'd maybe shy away from that unless it was a last resort. Weird to me the Stella is amphibious.

Obvert-

Happy to see you back in the saddle.

I will be following your war closely as I am sure El Lobo will be watching you to pick up ways to slaughter me.

*chuckling*

Have fun.

How long did it take your wife to figure out you were back in the game "for real?" [:D]

I think she knew from the beginning! I don´t think I´m half as sneaky as I think I am. [:D]
