Soviet late game tank and artillery cards?

Soviet late game tank and artillery cards?

Post by Steve110 »

Hi,

The manual talks about the soviets getting extra operation cards after 1st November - massed tanks & massed artillery.

However I'm now in my first game where I've reached mid November, and they still haven't appeared.

Did they get removed in an earlier version of the game?

Hi Steve,

They should (as well as the Air Defences card) activate at the start of November.

I'll take a look.

Cheers,

Cheers.

Just for info, I played through until mid December and still none of the 3 cards appeared.

Hi Steve,

The cards turn up from turn 35 onwards (start of November) but this is randomised.

The base chance is 5% per turn and added to this is any improvements you've made to the Soviet Command structure by playing the 'Reorganise' Card (+10% every time played).

Once it triggers all three cards (Massed Artillery, Armour and Air Defences) are available from that point on.

There was indeed a bug in the code preventing this from happening.

Fixed and available in the next update. I'll make a note in the manual errata as it infers that the cards automatically appear on turn 35 (who wrote that? - I did).

Cheers,
Cameron
