Just an FYI, I'll be waiting for the patch to come out and give a little bit of time, maybe a week or so, for anything odd to appear (i.e. bugs). Mainly things that would affect the battles in a significant way. Or to determine if there are things that I need to adjust the scenario setups that will be generated. Things such as the transferring of Support Weapons between units, etc.

For example, if this is working correctly I will not need to have each player provide me a list of which support weapons I need to assign to units during the setup process. If players can 'pass them around' during the mission, I can cancel that step in the scenario design process.

No problem: a couple days ago my PC decided it was a Panther D and suffered a catastrophic cooling fan breakdown at start. I suppose I should be happy it didn't catch fire [:D], but I am experiencieng serious withdrawal symptoms without my daily dose of TotH [:(].

Once the new patch is out and people have a little bit of time to poke around in it and post comments we will get this game up and running. If we have 6 players it will take more time to create, playtest and tweak the battles before sending them out so I want to see how much more aggressive the AI is and some other things so I can take them into consideration when creating the battles for each commander.

Had to 2 more survey 'votes' that seem to prefer playing from the German side so . . . I am leaning more towards a 6 player campaign game from the German side. Not 100% sure yet though.

This time we know we will have to face Paras and Guards: no chance for nasty surprises [:D]

Just figured I'd give this a bump to judge continued interest in seeing this thing happen. While the poll did favor the Germans but I am thinking it may be better played from the British side but that is not written in stone.

I am planning to make this very 'non-historical' game to keep it interesting and hopefully more balanced or at least to add more uncertainty. The game will cover the initial airborne landings around Rainville. Players will be asked to choose a Company Commander position from the battalions of the 5th Parachute Brigade. Outside of the individual battles each player will fight, the game will be very story driven.

Obviously I'll have to change the name of the campaign since the Battle of Bréville didn't happen until several day after the air landings. I'll start up another thread once I get more details together over the next day or 2.

Nobody has ever got bored playing one of your scenarios: we were too busy just trying to keep our men alive [:D][:D][:D].

LOL! I keep reworking this because I know its gonna be a buttload of work on the backend and I'm trying to make sure its streamlined enough that I can carry it through to the end. Making the scenarios is pretty time consuming especially if there are a good amount of players.

Also, I'm trying to figure out something to use as a campaign map and I think I found it. This way there is a visual to the game as opposed to just total missions victory point.
