Steam Release postponed - Edit: It's out now!

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Steam Release postponed - Edit: It's out now!

Post by Daniele »

Hi all,

We have encountered some unexpected technical issues, and unfortunately we are not able to release Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa on Steam today as originally planned.

We want to assure you that we are already on the way to solve these issues.

The game will be available very soon, but we cannot say precisely when.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for your patience.

The Steam store page still indicates a release in three hours.

Perhaps this should be amended?

Edit - It's been amended now to say "coming April 2016".

I am having trouble registering the game on steam. The Key from the Matrix digital download is the code for steam registration correct?

Hi,

I'm quite interested in this but have a couple of pricing/upgrade questions:

1. On Steam it appears as £23.99, but on the Matrix site (which appears also to be on sale) it's £29.71. I guess that might be an extra-discount on Steam (or possibly some odd regional pricing variation)... can I check this is correct though ?

2. The slight catch is that I was thinking of upgrading to the boxed edition for the manual, but I'm guessing that this isn't possible if I go with the Steam version (which would be shame) (?)

(actually what I'd really like is a way I could purchase a Matrix game on Steam and have it available/registerable on the Matrix site as well... would apply to Order of Battle also, but I guess this isn't possible).

Might hold off until some future sale if I've got this right, but looks like an intriguing title

best wishes
Chris

Hi Chrisol,

1. I think it is a currency conversion thing. Steam and matrix have different conv. rates. And Steam gives the UK a slightly lower price point.

2. Not sure if you can still buy the hardcover manual if you only buy the Steam version. We'll have to wait for the publisher to get back on that question. The other way around works for sure. Buy on matrix with hardcover manual and get a steam key as well.

Best wishes,
Vic
