guadalcanal japanese tactics

Post by LastBreath »

Hello dear admirals, any idea how to have some results as jap in GC sc ?

I played 3 times this sc. At the first time i sunk one CV with subs and damage another one. So I was free to move to the slot.
But now we restart and my opponent uses dd wisely to protect TF and all my units are sunk by air if I come close GC

I have no idea what can I do . Just wait that he comes to size rabaul ? or ?

Please help [&o]

As written, the GUA scenario is a tough one for the IJ. You must play to your strengths carefully, which are:
- excellent pilots
- numerous surface forces
- sufficient land forces

On your debit side:
- lack of pilots
- lack of replacement aircraft
- no replacement devices for your LCU's
- severely limited supply and fuel
- no ability to repair major ship damage

What this means to me is that you have one, and only one throw, here to win. Re-taking either Lunga or PM will win for you. So, you have to decide early where you are going. Point for that and go all in.
