There are no German deployment hexes... [&:]. I tried an auto-deployment but the units remain listed with the plain font of undeployed units.

Well, crap. I reset the scenario and sent the updated files via PM.

Since no one else has stepped up to play the first mission for '1 CO/II BN/233 RGT/102 ID' I have uploaded it as a standalone scenario. You can find it in the Mods and Scenarios section in the thread named GTotH 1 CO/II BN/233 RGT/102 ID Mission # - Official.
I played this one. Very tough mission! I managed to squeak out a Major Victory on the last turn winning the Melee that started on T15. Lots of CC with AFV and Squads in this one. It was touch and go for a while. Pretty good AI to assault Objectives to retake. Thanks for your work, DD. Impressive stuff, sir!

RE: Group Tigers on the Hunt (Test Campaign)- Official Information and AAR Thread
I just finished playing Mission #3, ending with a Minor Victory (more on this). Should I send the saved game at the end of the scenario, or is the filled PDF enough?
I wiped out the Russian to the last man and took all the three VP hexes, losing one HS in the process (and having two squads CR'd to HS, one of which subsequently became my only casualty) but I only got 30 VP and a Minor Victory. This happened because most squads are not eliminated by a single fire, but are first CR'd to HS. I actually eliminated 3 squads, 13 HS, 6 leaders and 1 crew. I have not opened the scenario in the Editor, but I noticed a lot of CR as a result of fire.
To counter this in my scenarios, I am thinking about awarding more than half the value of a full squad (e.g. 2 points for a HS, 3 for a full squad).
Final note #1: I NEVER fired the ATRs because I was constantly waiting for AFVs... but there was none [;)]
Final note #2: The game ended on turn #11 when the last Russian unit was eliminated because of Failure to Rout, so I cannot confirm the possible failure of the variable end feature.

Send both please. I am using the completed missions to walk through documenting my processes for replacements, refitting and stuff like that.ORIGINAL: UP844

Here are the filled PDF form and the saved game.
A full (and illustrated [:D]) AAR will be available in a few days: I took a pause this afternoon, but I'm still very busy and I have little spare time.

RE: Group Tigers on the Hunt (Test Campaign)- Official Information and AAR Thread
A bit late, here is the plan for the third (and last) scenario of the experimental GTotH campaign.
The bitter fighting of the first two scenarios had a mixed effect on the 3rd Company:
> its current strength is 75% of the established TO&E (it currently fields 3 platoons instead of 4)
> some losses have been replaced by second-line personnel, not fully trained to the standards of regular infantry
> on the other hand, part of the company is now formed by hardened veterans, and the leaders have gained much experience about dealing with the Red Army.
Since our mission is essentially a mopping-operation and no strong opposition is expected, the Battalion HQ has retained the MGs of the Heavy Weapons Company.
Phase 1:
Since we managed to deploy in close proximity with the enemy, Groups "A" and "B" start with heavy suppression fire on the objective fortified building;
Group "C" moves forward, to provide fire support the subsequent assault.
Group "D" moves to the woods and start harassing any Russian forces near the southern objective
Phase 2:
Group "A" secures the southern end of the bridge and provide support for Group "B"
Group "B" assaults the fortified building after the defenders are neutralised
Group "C" provides support for Group "B", then moves south to attack the objective there
Group "D" moves to the hill to better support Group "C".
Phase 3:
Group "A" crosses the river and attack the buildings on the north side
Group "B" advances to the south side of the river and provides support to Group "A"
Group "C" once the southern objective is conquered, initiates an enveloping move to encircle any Russians holding the northern objective.
Group "D" provides fire support as needed by the tactical situation
Phase 4:
Group "B" crosses the river and take position south-west of the northern objective
Group "C" continues its enveloping move
Phase 5:
Groups "A", "B" and "C" converge on the northern objective.
The AAR will follow as soon as possible.

Hopefully UP844 isn't scaring anyone away from future participation with his uber detailed AARs. [:D]

I hope not: the main purpose I pursue is the opposite, i.e. attracting people to TotH.
On the other hand, if someone is scared by a simple AAR, what should he do when he meets a KV-2 or a Konigstiger? Run away and play Candy Crush Saga? [:D]

RE: Group Tigers on the Hunt (Test Campaign)- Official Information and AAR Thread
Once the new patch is out and people have a little bit of time to poke around in it and post comments we will get this game up and running. If we have 6 players it will take more time to create, playtest and tweak the battles before sending them out so I want to see how much more aggressive the AI is and some other things so I can take them into consideration when creating the battles for each commander.
