Looking for player for GD1938 first turn, playing French and British. Version is the new build with new victory conditions.

I am contemplating getting the game. Are the other players experts, or can they bear a newbie?

I am not going to tell you that their are not excellent ATG players in this game, that would be a lie. If you have experience of similar types of hex based games then you may do well. If are new to this time of gaming then you could struggle.

Anyone is welcome to join, there is no snobbery among the group new players are welcome.

That said it may be a idea to run through the game, once you buy it, against the AI before throwing your hat into GD1938 this is a MOD and differs in many ways from the Vanilla ATG game, and this MOD is not suitable to play against the AI. It has huge numbers of Second World modelled equipment, the vanilla has none.

I would love to join, but I fear that I might not be as stabile as I would like to be. And then you would need a replacement player, probably sooner or later.

I do not know how well that would sit on you guys.
