Mexican conflict comes to a head

Post by CarnageINC »

For the next turn, Mexico is the sole focus for both sides. The Soviets expend 3 Ops points to neutralize Mexico for their move. The US counters by expending just 2 points to gain control back. I have a message for you Ivan...PISS OFF, Mexico and all its Tequila is MINE! [:D]

Africa Scoring card played

Post by CarnageINC »

The Soviets blindside me with the playing of 'Africa Scoring Card'. I was expecting Central America to be played out. WOW, I was blinded by my desire to control the situation in the America's I let the Soviet trash me in Africa. If I had only taken over 1 key battleground there it would of been a draw. I definitely took my eye off the ball on that one.

Gaining conrol over Brazil

Post by CarnageINC »

For my last turn I lick my wounds and secure Brazil. This round didn't work out like I wanted it to. But I feel that I have the foundations for a good couple rounds coming up. Africa was a mistake but one that can be easily fixed next round.

My next installment will be in a few days possibly, my summer schedule exploded and time will be rare for a bit. Thanks to all those who are still following along [;)]

Great report, love the game and give it high marks. I do think folks should download the Living Rules from the GMT website so they can go over the rules to fully understand the whole game mechanics.
So far I have never managed to ever get "Domination" in the Middle East. looks like you have done a great job. For $15 dollars you really can not go wrong with this game.(once you figure it out and understand it that is)

Thanks again.
