It is even rumored that Field Marshal Keitel may have actually smiled for just the breifest of moments upon hearing the reports.

Meanwhile down South Elements of the 1st Panzer, Kluge and Bock's armies under the command of Field marshal Kluge are preparing for the largest assault yet attempted on the French stronghold of Brest.

Rommel ceases the Central rail junction and cuts off the South from Northern industry. The French yield control of Brest and retreat south in search of more favorable ground to defend from.
