We often have the discussion who is the best F1 driver ever. Often it is reduced to titles or races won.
I stumbled over this page and found it quite interesting.

Good news from Sochi: Rosberg on pole! Too bad for Vet...came in P2 but penalized to P7. Lulu in P10....awwww...was he using the defective power unit he used in China?

ROSBERG! 7 F1 wins in a row!...only three other in history have done so (Shumi and Vet are two of them).

Will Lulu continue his unsportsmanlike attitude and sulk (did so in the marshalls parade...just sat there...no smiling, no waving to the fans)?...but he was happy to be in NY a few days ago partying with Nicky "thunder thighs" Minaj. He should be excited...2nd is pretty good for him.

I really hate being on the other side of the world for a sport I really like. I turned the race on just now and thought, I'll watch lap updates online. So, I go to F1 site and it told me who won and I guess I knew the broadcast time here meant it had to be taped, but I was kind of hoping I was watching live.

Never mind Jolyon Palmer possibly losing his seat at Renault, I suspect Daniil Kvyat is now under real threat at Red Bull. With Verstappen and Sainz not exactly sympatico, I suspect Kyvat could be elbowed out sooner rather than later and replaced by the Dutchman if the Russian does not up his game.

Haas (Grosjean) just keeps scoring points (22) putting Haas in 5th place Constructors...behind Williams (51) and ahead of Toro Rosso (17).

Gutierrez is one of the worst drivers...hope he is replaced by Ferrucci soon.

Well that was certainly sooner rather than later.... Great that they have done this. We can gauge how good Verstappen is as we have something of a marker with Ricciardo. I am really interested to see how Sainz compares with Kvyat too.

Lulu, what did you do??? While we are waiting for the stewards final decision, the very well respected Nicki Lauda blames Lulu.

Lulu feeling the heat of letting another one slip away makes a terrible move. Still, advantage Nico...now on to Nico's home race.

Indeed - what a lot to take in! The guy is 18..... 18! He drove with such maturity under pressure - and was totally unruffled afterwards. Incredible. He's 18! Did I mention that?

Felt really sorry for poor Ricciardo though - another puncture. But Verstappen... 18! He could dominate the sport for the next 20 years.....

....and just how is Daniil Kvyat feeling right now?

Yes, Max did a great job! However, it was probably good enough for 3rd place. He should go to the Mercedes trailer, find Lulu, and kiss his...

Looks like Ferrari is in a bit of trouble.

Stewards take it easy on Lulu...one more warning and...

I love Rosberg causes the issue and Lauda blames Lewis and the Stewards say no harm no foul on what was a clear cutoff move without the speed to pull it off and a massive departure from the racing line. Just insane. If it was another team getting blitzed off the track, I wonder how this would have shaken out. I see a different set of Mercedes drivers next year.

Ok...Jim. So you know better than Lauda and the Stewards? You did see Nico clear ahead of Lulu? Nico, (and I assume its the rules in F1 since I've heard it many times...I could be wrong though) gets one blocking move...the move was to the inside, and he was completely clear of Lulu when he blocked. Lulu decided to make the move anyway, which is surprising. Lulu hit Nico. Lulu should have gone to the outside. Too bad Lulu hit Nico...1st place for Nico and DNF for Lulu would have been perfect!

I remember last year Lulu "blitzing off the track" Nico several times. I'm glad to see Nico not taking any of that this year. Good defensive driving Nico! End result: Points difference stays the same, and one less race for Lulu to catch up.

My bad, I must have missed the part where driving into he side of a faster moving car is a clean blocking move. [:-][:D] Either way it was bad day for Mercedes and a shot a sweeping the constructor title. I still think those two will not be on the same team next year. Too much testosterone in those two cars.

Look at it again capn...did we watch the same race? Lulu's first contact on Nico's car is Nico's rear right tire. It was Lulu driving (spinning) into Nico. Prior to the spin there was no contact. Lulu driving off into the grass caused him to spin out of control and hit Nico. [:-][:D]

Here...take a look:

A much better look from the rear. Nico looses awareness dealing with the controls, Lewis pushes inside with speed advantage but doesn't expect Nico to drop down that hard and gets off track. I stand corrected. [&o]
