Edit: originally posted the files with the ship turned for the Allied side - if this were a WW1 game I would have given you both.

No problem, GP.

I used a game shill as a template, erased the original ship, and then transplanted the new ship into the blank. Photoshop helps because it can handle layers and many file types, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

The following is a rough sketch of the steps involved...

Blank:

RIN Livorno scaled to size and inserted:

New layer added to create ship's waterline:

A free very good alternative/replacemnt for Photoshop for those that don't have it is Krita. Version 3 is about to get out and the release candidate is available to download https://krita.org/item/krita-3-0-releas ... -released/

Thanks for the suggestion, Dili. Krita actually looks quite a bit more capable than Photoshop in the digital art (painting/drawing) arena.

On a side note, you solved the mystery of why applications occasionally go blank on my tablet display. According to the link provided by Krita, my internal Intel graphics card technically doesn't support Windows 10.

Glad you liked, sorry to hear about your graphic card, sometimes there are hacks to mitigate de problem, maybe using compatibility mode in those applications.

Thanks for the graphics tip. In this case it's a good thing I learned the cause, so I don't spend any time trying to figure it out.

The problem only occurs every now and then, and is easily solved in most cases by closing the application in question and re-opening it. And the monitor in question is my 3rd screen - the first two are hooked up to my dedicated graphics card. I would have all monitors hooked up to the dedicated card, but mine happens to be from a generation before they could handle three screens. There will be a permanent solution when I upgrade my motherboard and/or dedicated graphics card.
