I've been tinkering. If you delete the first two lines the error disappears.

Task Force 437 slows down to allow following TF 403 to catch up
Coastwatcher sighting: 2 Japanese ships at 106,122 near Kavieng [N Ireland] , Moving Southwest

There are two further errors that do not to stop the file loading and appear unconnected.

WARNING: Unknown row in operations file <C:\Matrix Games\WitP AE RHS\SAVE\aoperationsreport.txt>: [SLDR Henderson, A.D. of No.8 Sqn RAAF Det bails out but is MIA]

Starting game as Japan, so I need Tracker up and running very soon. Copy & pasted dll7 from Beta2 and got this message. Now what?

This is copied from the witpaetracker web site:

This will show up as an error message:

Can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform

This error message is usually because you haven’t installed the Microsoft C++ libraries. But if you have then it can also be because you’ve not got Java 32 installed and configured properly.
Solutions:
Step 1. Check C++ Libraries.
Check you have the C++ Libraries installed, if not, install the 32 bit version (even if you have a 64 bit OS.)
Check here for installation.

Step 2. Check you have 32 bit Java
Check you have 32 bit Java installed. If you are working on a 64 bit OS, then you can have both installed.

Change your witptracker.bat file to point to the 32 bit Java executable (you need the quotes because of the space) - this varies on different machines so you'll need to check the path:

32bitOS users
C:\"Program Files"\Java\jre6\bin\java -Xms384m -Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"
pause
64bitOS users
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xms384m -Xmx512m -jar "WitPTracker.jar"
pause

You must run WitPTracker from the batch file. There is an executable file that might solve your problem if you've done the step above at the bottom of this page.

Your just talking about the two warning lines and not the other error?

I have a dababes scenario loaded on tracker but the devices list is the official one and the first turn listed turn>turn list has the name of another save. What could be the problem?

I'm no expert on Tracker, but have you checked your witptracker.properties file in the Tracker install directory?

Step #1: Download a good text editor if you don't already have one. I recommend Notepad++.

Step #2: Check the settings in the witptracker.properties file as indicated in red below -

Step #3: You might as well check all the other settings to make sure they are appropriate for your current game save.

Try to delete all trackerdb.*** files. This 'clean' the tracker. Then take the pwsdll.dll file (you find in WitPAE default folder for the stock, in the Beta2 folder for the Michaelm beta patch) and paste it in the tracker folder. I don't know if this last step is required, but I read this some time ago (don't remember where, maybe in the .txt that comes with the tracker?) and for me always worked well. Hope this help.

Had this version of Tracker working .... Had PC issues which were resolved, but had to re-load a lot of stuff. Now can seem to get Tracker to play nice .... Any thoughts as to what I need to try ?

Are you sure you unpacked everything correctly? There should be a lib folder with a few jar files in it.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

I thought so ... But apparently not ....

Re-down loaded ... got past database read ..... then a boatload of warning items in cmd window and then Tracker opened ....
I seem to remember the warning from before so guessing I'm good .....

Thanks

Started a BTS Lite mod using the extended map ..... Any "painless" method for using this with Tracker .....
This would be a second install for Tracker as I am running each game separately ....

I have a separate Tracker for each WITP AE install. Have a total of five WITP AE installs and five Trackers. No problems at all.

Hi guys – excellent work on your product. I’m a relative noob with WiTP and have never tried to use tracker until tonight. I’ve been tinkering with a scenario and tried to get tracker to work – came up with this error:

I read through the forums and didn’t find much – just one reference that this error was non-fatal and I should be able to get past it. No luck.

If it doesn’t work with custom scenarios I understand – just need to know before I start doing a deep dive.

Thanks again!

Sorry - newcomer question. I bought and tried WitPAE a while back, couldn't make head nor tail of it, couldn't even see the things in the map properly....so gave up. Now I'm trying again, and liking it more, slowly....

I have searched a bit, but can't find the answer to this - what IS this tracker mod, what's it for?

Thanks,

Peter

The tracker first is a database of what is going on in the game. It follows warnings , production etc in an easily accessible way. By its name it is to track what is going on.

But you also have a more pleasant and easy way to check all hardware that you and enemy has. And units in your side.
