Terrain and combat results?

Post by Fred98 »

I don’t have the original game. But I am playing the demo to the original game.

Regarding the terrain, could somebody confirm whether or not the different terrain has different effect on the combat results?

How can I tell the range of my mortars?

When I order mortars to fire they seem to use rifle fire – what have I missed?

Considering the way the units move around the map, friendly fire from mortars is real possibility! How can I avoid it?

Looking at the graphics, I can pretty much pick out the high ground. How can I check Line of Sight?

1. Buy the game

2. Yes....its the manual but it does effect combat results...im not gona write all the info out again

3. Click on the mortar unit...click bombard...zoom out and look at the range circles....should be red

4. if you select fire...they will use small arms...instead..use the bombard function

5. Dont bombard over your own men...but leaving mortars on call (tell them to defend and they will automaticly do this) will assure that they dont hit your own men

6. In a patch a LOS tool was added..not in the demo
Again...buy the game :D

Hope that helps

Thank you

I will buy the sequel. Over the internet.

If the original were available in a shop I would buy it.

I will not get the original over the internet from the other side of the world because I do not have faith that it will arrive.
