The 403rd BG has been fixed, good catch!

I'm not sure what you opponent is referring to with the DBB bases - unless they mean the ones in India? I mainly used the extended map for the Aden and Abadan differences.

I really am sorry that this is taking so long. I manage a 14,000sf liquor store employing entry level employees, and lately outside of my core staff it has been a revolving door. I tried to take a couple weeks off to work on the mod last month, but I wound up having to come in every day to put out fires. Between that and Windows 10 installing itself without my permission (grrr), which broke WitP:AE until I did some serious tweaking, it has been very hard for me to find the time to give the mod the time it deserves.

Thank you all for your continued patience.

Windows 10 installing itself without my permission
I've heard some serious bad stories about W10 but this one beats them all I think.

Microsoft - unbeknownst to me - changed the update box so that if you closed it via the "X" at the top right rather than the "close" button in the text of the dialogue box it would install automatically. I saw it pop up, closed the window, then flew to another city for a few days for work. When I returned home, I was greeted by "Welcome to Windows 10". I could have tried to roll it back, but I have friends who lost files in doing so, so I've just gritted my teeth and disabled as many of the data-collection features that I can.

I don't have this scenario, but in Stock Scenario 1 all the arriving air units have six digit (YYMMDD) arrival dates, except the ones that are "9999" for some conditional arrival. Could the lack of the Day in the arrival date cause a "divide by 0" wacky result?

It seems that if you do not use a 6 digit date, it treats it as the number of days until arrival. 4206 days from Dec 7, 1941 is June 16, 1953.

And, I did not find this, my possible opponent asked me about it. He wanted to know why the 403rd BG defected and arrived in Los Angles in 1953. I looked and reported it. So it is not just my install that reports this.

I didn't add the day part of the delay, but when I went into the editor a few minutes ago, program seems to of defaulted to June 1st all by itself. I think correcting the nation had something to do with it....GP

Cruiser with AC over-stacked. Is this 3/8 intended? Otherwise I think you've gotta remove the 5 Rufe. In reality, I don't think a CA could carry that many FP...

This is from a page back:

The Mogami and Azuma have more planes than it can fly due to a conversion issue. It can convert to a version that can field 11 FP, allowing it to operate both the FP squadron and the Rufe float fighters. Until you make the conversion (7/42) simply transfer the Rufes off these ships, and then back on when (if) they are converted.

In my version of the files, the delay is 420601. Why your version is 4206 instead I'm not sure, but it will be correct in the final version.

+1

This is exactly the issue here. Unfortunately there is no way in the editor to conditionally assign planes to a ship based on its conversion status. I could have chosen to have the planes arrive on the conversion availability date, but because there is no way of knowing exactly when/if the player will decide to make the conversion, the planes instead arrive on the cruiser at game start. The player can use those Rufe groups as they see fit, but they're in-game and available if the player decides to make the conversion.

As a side-note, for Japanese players of Focus Pacific, you'll notice that you get a lot more Rufe groups assigned to ships. These float fighters can be surprisingly effective in disrupting allied naval attacks on your surface TFs. Allied players also get a float fighter in Focus Pacific in the form of the Dewoitine HD.780, but they would have to sacrifice their naval search planes to field them.

Uploading installer of release version to dropbox now, I'll need some volunteers to insure that the installer is working correctly with a fresh upgraded install of WitP:AE, and then I'll publicly link the installer.
