Screen resolution error on launch

I can't start the game in any of the resolutions suggested by the error message. Is there something in my settings that will allow me to start the game? I have updated to the latest version. I'm running Windows 10 on a DELL. Thanks. K

It could be that you have your DPI setting for your graphics card to high. I run my Laptop at 125% you could try that or 100%.

IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE, BUT WHEN I TRY TO CHANGE THE SUPPORTED RESOLUTION IN THE CONFIGURATION FILE, I GET ACCESS DENIED, NOW i LOOKED UNDER "PROPERTIES" FOR BOTH THE CONFIG FILE AND THE ROOT FOLDER AND IN NEITHER ONE IS THE THE CHECK BOX STATING "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" THERE (damn caps lock, sorry bout that) now im at my wits end, what should i do?? do i NEED to open a system account??

you user status on your home pc needs to have admin rights yes, not a school or work pc, which either normally have only lower end user settings, running a file or program as admin gives these permission only on a correct status account
