Rookie Mod/Editor Help

Howdy! I am designing my FIRST scenario ever and want to know how I can get to play as the Allies if I am design a scenario with the basic Panzer Corps game.
Or play as the Soviets if I design a scenario with them and the Germans.

You can`t have more than two sides in PzC (Allies and Axis) and both are playable in any scenario no matter what you do. The only thing that might matter is how you balance your forces depending on who you want to play as.

Sorry. I think I made things too confusing. lol

If I design a scenario with the USA and Germany, how do I set it up so the player can play as the USA as a primary option?

As far as I can tell, the Axis is always the default option for the Human player. Probably because they`re mentioned first in sides.pzdat (it`s in the main data folder and you can open it with Notepad, but I advice you to make backups before you mess with it). You could try to set them second, but why bother? It`s just a click to change what side you want to play in a scenario and, besides, that will not have an effect on what side makes the first move (which will always be the attacker).

EDIT: I haven`t mentioned it, but it`s obvious that you can also assign the USA as Axis and Germany as Allies in the scenario and then the USA/Axis will be the default Human option. (Edit->Scenario Params...->Nations)

You NEED to own the Panzer Corps series.

If you own Allied Corps then when you start the scenario, you will start as Allied
If you own SovietCorps then when you start the scenario, you will start as Soviet
