Well, IMHO it does a very good job of porting SL/ASL to PC - what I've looked for since 20 yrs ! :)
Sure it could be prettier and sleeker...

Potentially- I believe this game has a chance to reach classic status.
The Current State Of The Game - My experience is very positive from the development aspect to the community contributions . At this point. it is a game I can totally enjoy with my favourite beverage in one
hand and with my limited knowledge of the game ,and still have a great time :)
If The Game Never Developed From This Point - I would still be as happy as a pig who got fed strawberry`s .

It`s a niche game , but for those who enjoy this type of game,
I don`t think there is anything on the horizon that could match the potential of this game ,

David,

I have to agree with you 100%.

The potential of this game is mind boggling when you think about it

What Campaign Series did for Panzerblitz and Panzer Leader, Tigers on the Hunt is doing for Advanced Squad Leader.
The possibilities are endless going forward.

Cheers!

Thank you guys for your kind words! Rest assured, more will be coming in the future. I'm currently working on UPDATE2, though at slower pace as my day job just doesn't leave me much time to focus on the game development.

Whenever I get a chance to play (sadly, not enough -- due to other demands) it is always an enjoyable experience. Plus, the rate of scenarios being generated by other users is amazing.

Still a clickfest, critique gets talked down by supporters... I feel left out as a customer. But yeah, it is my problem that I didn't play ASL back then and love TOTH with warts and all.

Shelved it for the time being, the UI is just too tedious to handle.

I agree about the UI but it isn't terrible. However, the counters and their limited information (especially about vehicle weapon and ordnance power) really leaves a lot to be desired.

This. Having to pretend that it's not using the IFT and C tables (To Hit/To Kill) from ASL by completely hiding them and the results needed/final result rolls obtained is taking away a very important component of why wargamers like to wargame, IMO. If, however, anybody ever can get the license to really create a "Computer ASL", I sure hope that it's Peter because he already has all the tools and capabilities - he just has to be able to do it.
