campaign ends midway,why

I downloaded Rbrunsman's savefile of scenario 17,and played it through until Gornostal Bridge scenario(right after Uman),after this scenario the game ends saying:a new patch is under working ,only with that I can continue the campaign.
In those scenario after No.17,I had only two draws,all the rest DV or moderate victories.
I believe I have got SPwaw 7.1 and LV patch 1.01,1.02.
What should I do to continue the campaign?

The patches need to be installed to continue. That was a false result from the testing phase that got left in. the ver 1.1 and 1.2 patches correct this and the game will continue from there but I am puzzled as to how you got to Gornostaipol from Uman as this branch is not very often taken

william081, Make sure that you installed the patches in the correct place within SPWAW, i.e. inside the megacampaign/Lost Victories sub folder.. There is also a sound patch out for this one.

I am wondering if I download a save file after the scenario of Gornostal bridge,can I avoid this problem?Last time I reached Kremenchug bridge scenario,and the campaign ended there,so I guess the problem exists only in that part of campaign(Gornostal or Kremenchug after Uman).
Jim 1954, (or any veteren here),can you please give me a save file of your game record after Gornostal or Kremenchug?I want to try this.
I applied LV patches and sound patch to the game once again today.
