Should probably be noted that during this Summer Sale there won't be daily deals and flash sales like before. Apparently they stopped doing those because of people abusing the refund system. So what you see is what you get until the sale ends. Still, a lot of great deals on there. Personally, I just picked up Ashes of the Singularity, seems like an interesting new RTS along the lines of Supreme Commander.

I just looked at everything on Steam published under Slitherine and it looks like the majority of the catalog is 20-50% off, so definitely something for everyone there.

I'll be checking the daily new releases and post anything here if it is worthwhile or interesting (IMHO), Ashes of the Singularity does look good...good looking sale! [:)]

Not much for me, mostly Matrix/ slitherine titles I missed before.
Should I get Pride of Nations, how is the performance?

I own it but have not played it yet [:(], hopefully someone will chime in for you...50% off is pretty good! [:)]

I picked up Pillars of Eternity and Evochron. I have been wanting both so now I'll have two more titles that I won't get enough time to play!

I see they have Pike &Shot Campaign at 50% - tempting

But I agree with H Gilmer - when I was younger I had enough time but not enough money to indulge my gaming habit. Now I have sufficient money but insufficient time. Hardly seems fair.

Same here - but after playing it on the iPad periodically I knew it was worth it - sold !

Also picked Rise of Prussia Gold - another steal ....

Pike & Shot is great great game guys, you must get it. I want to get another AGEOD game, need your recommendation on the following (specially regarding the performance):
Civil War II
Pride of Nations
Alea Jacta Est
Revolution Under Siege

Also I never played Close Combat series, which one is the best?

Thanks

When I was asking about that, I was recommended Last Stand Arnhem. I've played only 1 scenario of it though. I've got too many games on my hands and I spend my free time reading/posting on forums and watching anime.

I want to get Pike and Shot here so I have it both DRM free and Steam.

Of that group this is how I rank them.

1. Civil War II.
2. Revolution Under Siege
3. Alea Jacta Est
4. Pride of Nations. - Unless you have a beast of a computer, turns can be slow. It has to be speed of the CPU, not the cores, because their games are not optimised for extra cores. This is my experience and what I have picked up on forums.

Doom games are also in for sale. New one for -40% off and Doom 3: BFG Edition for -50%. I still haven't played through Red Faction franchise nor Crysis for that matter... Thinking about having short vacation (this weekend) and lock & load.
