First Impressions

The counters are perfect and so is the map.

I really like all of the little 'extras' put on the map.

Warsaw fell by the first week of October and the French obligingly did nothing.

I am glad that the AI did not do a suicidal French attack. In reality they could not do much. Unless they had prepared for war much earlier and more heavily.

Smooth scrolling on my computer.

A lot more of the 'extra' historical choices and events than I have seen in a game.

What else is there to say, hexes. If only your WWI game had hexes it would have been fantastic. It is a great game, but hexes would have made it better.

I know 'dead horse'.

I was surprised that Estonia etc. were not swallowed by the SU when Poland fell. I had never really looked it up or remembered, but it didn't take place until seven months later.

They did in my game eventually. I guess there's an event for that action also. Bill could probably tell you more about it.

Yes, it wasn't until June 1940 that the Baltic States were annexed by the USSR, and that is optional too. [:)]
