Setup pbem games?

Setup pbem games?

Post by Hoche »

Will people be able to setup existing pbem games in the comp game or will all new games have to start on the first turn? I have a couple of pbem games going now and it would be nice to transfer them into the Matrix computer version of EiA. For example I am in a game and the year is 1812. Will we be able to setup current forces and set the date to the current date in the game or wait until we start a new game to use comp game?
It is a general popular error to suppose the loudest complainers for the public to be the most anxious for its welfare.

PBEM Setup = Scenario Setup

Post by tunlaw23 »

I would imagine this would be a key component of allowing users to setup their own scenarios, puzzles, or as you suggest, games in situ.

However, I would not expect a computer player to be able to necessarily grasp a potentially illogical set up. You might find that, if this component is included, the AI doesn't react well to the new situations.
