Market Garden Hawk vs. M4 Jess

Hi all!

Me (Germans) and BruttoBob (Allies) are in this PBEM too. We are now at turn 12 or so: the XXX Corps has been able to rush north without much problems, has already taken Eindhoven and is now attacking Veghel. At Grave, an early attempt by paratroopers to take the bridge was succesfully beaten off, inflicting heavy casualties on the attackers.
At Nimwegen city no trace of the 82nd airborne while German armor is sweeping it's drop zone.
Near Groosbeck, fighting between German Stug's and American paras.
At Arnhem, the German have managed to push the Red Devils completely out of the town to the west, where heavy fighting rages in the woods. In the meantime, German reinforcements move freely accross the bridge to the south.

Jess, have you updated this scenario for the new H2H release?

If so, I'm interested in taking anyone on as soon as it's out. This sounds too good and fun not to play.

This battle was classic!

it almost followed history!:rolleyes:

XXX Corps was down to next to nothing! I had mabe a platoon of tanks and a re-inforced company of mixed US,Brits and Poles. I was in the "Island" and just could not get through with these weak units. I am not sure (read below) what Hawk had left with his SS, but I feel he was weak also.
