Hey, that was nice. Getting into the personal with the man I never met but still feel I know him as my brother. All because of Matrix Games. Good job Jason.

Taken down for abit of editing! Will post back when online again!

OK all editing finished and pics added!

Nice interview! It's great to see the things that are going on at LnL and all of the games coming back in print, as well as some great new stuff.
I was amused to see pictures of me running games of LnL Tactical at Origins. It was a good time hanging out with David during the show.

Thanks for the interview. A good read.
RE: Interview with David Heath
Thanks for the positive replies. Due to issue with Blogger and Word docs it started off needing editing. However I think I've done it to an acceptable level.

Very nice site. I didn't notice a forum section, just wondering did you have any plans of adding one?

Wodin, thank you for the interview, which was very well done.
I became a customer of Matrix in their first year, and have always had great respect for David, and I loved the old Matrix as a company. I have been curious for a long time about why the company was sold, and changed, and the interview explained everything.
I was quite sad to see all the old Matrix guys gone, except for Erik Rutins. Yet I go back a long way with Slitherine also, having bought all of their early games, starting with the first version of legion. And Slitherine also has a great attitude toward its customers, and I have been happy with everyone I have dealt with. So it is kind of like one old friend taking over for another.
Best,
vaalen

Wodin, thanks. I remember one of the last AvalonCon's hanging out at the Matrix Games booth. David Heath and his dad were there, Erik Rutins, Jim Zabek, Mark Walker and others. Good memories. David Heath personally ran an early demo of Empires in Arms for us back then and I thought, Cool! I'm trying to get EiA development going again, and still optimistic after all these years. One must enjoy the journey!

Yogi, sorry no forum. It's not something I've really thought about. I think there are enough forums out there, it's difficult to get a big following and takes time and a lot of work and really all my time is dedicated to the blog. I also don't want to tread on anyone's toes, that's not what I'm into nor want to get caught up in:)
Maybe if I have a large amount of requests for one I'll think about it. Another thing is sometimes the forum becomes more important than the actual website itself and I want the reviews and interviews to be the focus. One other thing would get me to really consider it and that's the MiniFigs community. If they felt they want a forum that would be great, wargamers I feel are well taken care of and people are already loyal to one at the moment.
