FTP 1 Error

I am getting this error when trying to update the game:


File 1: An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file.[/color]

I tried several times with no luck.

The goal here is to install the two new DLC's, "Wolves" and "Oath"

I am guessing the new version of the Field of Glory base game has to be updated first to get to the point where the DLC's can be unlocked. Maybe I am way off here :)

Version 1.01 is the old version.
You can't upgrade that version to the new version which is using a new game engine.

I see those instructions :)

The FoG game purchased was supposed to be the new one. It was bought on the day of release right from the advertisement on the Matrix home page. Seems I was somehow linked to the older version.
