A new Strategic Command beta build is now available. v1.00.07

Please refer to Tamas' earlier forum post ("How to download the latest beta build") for how to download this

Remember that save games from previous versions will not work with v1.00.07

The team have made many fixes and improvements for this version (too many to list here!), please refer to the Patch

Got it ! Up and running - new start screens look nice, scrolling is still stinky/sticky. I'm off to Poland ...

Will this version overwrite the previous like a patch or do we need to uninstall the old version and install this as a stand alone build?

It appeared to overwrite, but didn't erase any of my custom stuff [graphics]. I did have some trouble saving a game, but after I deleted all the old saves from 1.06 it worked fine. The 1.06 saves won't work with 1.07 anyway, so no loss.

Edit: I was looking in the wrong place, it did, of course, overwrite my files. All but one were backed up, my mistake.

Good question, should really have mentioned that. I would recommend uninstalling previous version and installing
v1.00.07 fresh.
