Turn 34. Mar/Apr 1945. Axis #7. German U-boats. North Atlantic.
Finally the fourth and final sea area and the one with the greatest concentration of German u-boats (3 units). The German u-boats again come up short when they fail to locate allied convoys.
The allies dodge, what is hopefully, the last German bullet where their u-boats are concerned.

Turn 34. Mar/Apr 1945. Allied #9. Manchuria. Korea.
Post movement, no land combat.
The US and CW continue to build up their ground and air forces in these two countries. In addition to liberating these countries from the Japanese, the Western Allies will use them as a base from which they intend to bomb Japan back into the stone age. Well, as soon as they can get strategic bombers and fighters based there.
Turn 34. Mar/Apr 1944. Axis #11. German U-boats. North Atlantic. Sub Combat.
And these u-boats go out in a blaze of glory taking it on the chin in order to use all their surprise points to maximize damage against the allied convoys. Brutal! 6 allied CPs sunk and another 3 forced to abort.
Post movement, no land combat. Germany used their one naval move of the combine to put a German and Finnish ship, two ships, in the 4 box of the Baltic. Well actually, the German ship is an old Italian heavy cruiser under German flag.

They should invade Japan instead. Japan is a soft target at the moment. Several undefended minor ports. Allied troops can pour into Japan with so few Japanese land units. And Allied shore bombardment should make advancing along the coast fairly easy. Play a offensive on the first clear weather impulse and do a supercombined and invade on several hexes. Then you can transfer the air force to Japan instead of Korea.
