I'm still pretty green here and I would like to practice my skills some more in one of the preset (historical) scenarios, preferably a medium to large size scenario. I sometimes still don't know what I am buying when starting play against the PC (even though I studied military history as part of my education) or I just simply forget the obvious (like not buying any troop carriers thinking my tanks will carry 10+ men
I'm a serious wargamer and a veteran of Eastern Front 2, the Battleground series (the Civil War one, not the one with Napoleon) and (way back) The Perfect General (awwwwww that game was CUTE in comparison). So I try to play historically acurate or alternate and not too 'gamey'. I can be hardboiled in sacrificing units, though I prefer not to like real world commanders try to keep their losses down.
I don't care much for what side I play, though I am more in my element when setting up a defense (which is, as every military person can tell you including master Tzu, relatively easy). I also don't really care for what country I play, though the bigger players in world war 2 do hold my interest more than, say, Slovakia.
Well.. if anyone is interested.. I am all ears. Or umm.. eyes.. in the case of reading this forum.. heh..
