Thanks so much for the response, but I fear that might be a tad ambitious for my first time out. I was hoping for something more like (i) medium map or smaller, (ii) stone age, (iii) expensive research. Or thereabouts. I think I'll hold out for something more modest. Thanks again though.

Hey Redboot, I'd be interested in a game. I'm fairly comfortable with ATG but have yet to play it PBEM. A shorter/smaller game sounds good to me to get our PBEM feet wet and test things out. I'd probably prefer not to do both of Stone Age and Expensive Research (one or the other's fine), but I don't have my heart set on it and am open regarding settings.
